When building your addition or custom home, we aim to use advanced framing techniques, FSC certified lumber, VOC paint, sustainable building materials, and the most energy efficient appliances and fixtures. Our goal is to educate and create for you the most comfortable and efficient home possible with lower utility bills and elimination of landfill waste, while increasing the optimum square foot price of your home.
Eric Mullen
Eric Mullen is a Raleigh native with many accomplishments to his credit.
1994 - Graduated from NC State University – Civil Engineering
1994 – Kimley-Horn & Associates – Civil Engineering Firm
1994 – Began purchasing and renovating properties
1995 – Received NC Real Estate License
1996 – Opened Amazing Glaze – NC’s first “paint your own pottery” store
1997 – Opened second Amazing Glaze location in Cary
1998 – Opened The Pour House Music Hall in downtown Raleigh
2007 – Received NC General Contractor’s License (intermediate – residential & commercial building)
Eric possesses an incredible attention to detail, design, decorating and staging techniques. His entrepreneurship has proven him to be successful in his retail and real estate endeavors.
He is also the proud father of a 4 year old son, Josh, who is following in his father’s footsteps with a passion for sports and building.
Duncan Miller
Duncan, also a Raleigh native, began his professional woodworking career over 15 years ago. He quickly progressed from framing and trim work to creating custom cabinet and furniture projects with a master’s design and workmanship. Our own studio and shop provides Duncan the opportunity to build our clients any cabinet, counter, staircase, furniture or fixtures desired. His eye for perfection, imaginative design and incredible craftsmanship make him a perfect part of the Mullen Development, llc team.
